Observations of practice can be a powerful tool to improve quality when implemented well, with the right intent behind them.

Done badly observations add little value and can be perceived as a threat.

Let’s take a deep dive into observations of practice within the context of your quality cycle.

How can you make sure your observations of practice substantially improve CPD for your colleagues and benefit your learners?

How can we successfully bridge the relationship between quality assurance and practitioner development?

During this workshop, you will:

  • Consider how to implement a successful observation strategy
  • Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to observations
  • Critique examples of reporting on outcomes from observations
  • Share experiences with colleagues from other organisations to help you to develop your plans and practice

In-person attendance is recommended to get the maximum value from the event.
